Nevertheless, as they are using the Silhouette printer a terribly freakish, destructive storm hits the house, and when the dust settles, VOILA! There stands the perfect Brad Pitt.

However, life is not perfect at the Simpsons household because the home is destroyed and Brad/Basil is the bearer of bad news (like the Genie in the bottle) and this is what sets the story off in an explosive way forward as each must overcome a task as they have now been entered into a centuries-old game. Who all must work together as a team where they must go back in time to their home countries. Here, they all must face and overcome terrible demons, deaths, divorce, and impossible odds.

Even though they are great friends it puts a terrible strain on their relationships as they are paired together with tasks that are insurmountable. 

AND, if one loses, they all lose, and this means a terrible death for all.
